Data Science Associate Recruitment
ICDSS would like to recruit the more advanced members of our community to volunteer and help out with our talent development team as Data Science Associates!
If you are a PhD/ Masters student and/or have extensive experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or Statistics, then this might be right for you! Our society’s main goal this year is to build a solid community of data science enthusiasts at Imperial College and we would like to invite you to join us in this endeavour.
Potential Tasks
- Helping out during our beginner-oriented lectures or workshops to answer questions from students
- Present talks about your research
- Contribute to our blog posts (medium or our website) in sharing data science learning tips, resources and research on new topics
- Contribute to our Teams community
- If interested, associates can collaborate with the Talent Development team in developing lecture material
Details and Requirements
- Are studying towards a Masters/ PhD in Data Science and/or have extensive experience in the field
- Understand and have done projects with Machine Learning/ Deep Learning with Python Tensorflow/ Pytorch
- Good at explaining mathematical and programming concepts in a simple way
- Estimated maximum commitment of 1-2 hours per week
- Certificate can be provided upon request
