Introduction to AI/ML on AWS

Alara is an accomplished technology professional with a strong background in computer science. With a BSc in Computer Science, she launched a successful career that spans various roles in the tech industry.
Alara kick-started her career journey at IBM right after graduation. She initially worked as an application developer at IBM, specialising in creating conversational AI and chatbot solutions. Driven by her passion to bridge the gap between technology and business, Alara transitioned into a customer-facing role as a Cloud Technical Specialist. Here, she excelled in understanding diverse customer needs and positioned a wide range of IBM cloud solutions to help them thrive.
In early 2023, Alara embarked on a new adventure by joining AWS London as a Solutions Architect. In this role, she collaborates closely with customers to design efficient solutions that align with their unique business objectives.
Alara is here to share insights on “Introduction to AI/ML on AWS,” drawing from her experience in cloud technology and machine learning.
Cloud and machine learning adoption through AWS DeepRacer

Tomasz is a software engineer with a focus on tackling technical challenges and helping deliver a developer experience that empowers teams to build great products and services. He is a senior software engineer at Duco, a cloud-based data reconciliation and integrity services provider which enables customers to efficiently consolidate, standardize, and reconcile any type of data. He also partners with AWS Hero Lyndon Leggate, and many AWS Community Builders, in co-leading the AWS Machine Learning Community.
Tomasz is a participant in the AWS DeepRacer League: a winner in the 2019 September virtual league race, and a 2019 and 2020 season finalist. He has been a leader in the AWS DeepRacer Community since day one, running the AWS DeepRacer Community Blog and knowledge base, and looking after AWS DeepRacer Community projects. He also works on promoting AWS DeepRacer as a learning opportunity in the United Kingdom and Poland. Finally, Tomasz enjoys blogging about his learning journey as a human, a professional in tech, and a hobbyist baker.
